Wynwood wall, Miami

Thinking of Miami we collect two major activities-beach hopping and night clubs. But looking beyond there are lot more to explore for every shopaholics, art lovers and foodies. This column is for art lover and people who really love colour and want to splash colour vibes in their life. Once upon a gray wall in abandoned industrial warehouse Tony Goldman decided to turn the place into canvas of amazing art.

Fenced off from the hustle bustle of the city and sound of waves Wynwood Walls is a large public space, opened to everybody to take a stroll marveling at the giant works of art. Wynwood Walls is completely free to visit and open to the public. The street artists have traveled from the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Belgium, Portugal, Ukraine, Greece, Spain, France, Germany, England, Japan, and Singapore.

Don’t limit yourself to staying within Wynwood Walls. Be sure to wander around these side streets and alleyways, spotting even more works by talented local graffiti artists. It’s definitely a good idea to leave the car behind – these city blocks are best explored by foot and it covers fifty blocks. We wanted to explore more but as the heat stirred up it became difficult with Anika. We decided to cool off by taking a sip in Diner, which was another painted building filled with industrial charm and happy vibes. I had my Moscow mule while Anika suckled her milk bottle. An artsy day to remember all our life!

Remember the art at Wynwood Walls Miami is not permanent. It is always changing, especially Outside the Walls. So make sure you pay a visit here.
