Redeeming our hotel reward points we got lucky to book a suite room in Sheraton towers in Singapore, Scotts road. Located few walks away from the Singaporean much loved shopping street, Orchard road and the nearest metro station Newton, this was our convenient choice.

Unlike the other country styles, Sheraton Singapore surprised us with Cabana room furnished with four poster bed from Colonial times. A wooden ceiling fan, carved tables and paneled window facing the open sky and greenery undeniably steal me back to my ancestral home in Kolkata. Those were the days!!

While my hubby sank into the bed I decided to stroll the hotel.  Leveled on fifth floor our room door opened up to a play pool, a sauna bath and spa opposite to it Lot of activity was going on from sunbathing to kids splashing bath toys beautified with amazing sight of sunset on the right.

A brave tree stood decorated in main entrance in lobby and live music playing in the evening. More than the breakfast spread I was dazed by the table I was offered. Joint to a mirrored wall one can enjoy the artificial lagoon theme scene behind. A low artificial waterfall and fishes wriggling in jovial tune.

Lounge was no less appealing. From every day exquisite evening menu to the glassed wall on one side facing the Singapore Street was a best spot to relish coffee when you want to be alone.

Have a wonderful Christmas and  a great year ahead.
