Beach with baby
Year 2019 is perhaps the best summer of my life as watching Anika grow became our utmost pride and joy. A series of motor skills amazed us with the onset of summer. Anika's grew her first milk teeth, she can sway in crawling position backward and forward and can now sit upright. We were more thrilled to make the most of these moments and decided to go beaching. Since Ani always wanted to spend quality time with her, this was the opportunity. Being my first time with baby on beach i was nervous. I scrolled all the way from Google to Pinterest making checklist of things to carry. And honestly i end up with more than dozen items. Here is a trick you do not need to carry everything mentioned online. Pack only the basics.
Best time to take baby to beach
Keeping things to carry aside note the time and weather. Making sure that your baby enjoys the sun, sand and dunes take her before noon or late evening. I took Anika after 4pm and also feed her before taking to beach(nothing annoys a baby more than being on empty stomach). With mild climate and no harsh heat on skin, Anika was comfortable enough to expose herself to the waves and study the surrounding. We were more than glad seeing her dozed off after an hour as the sea breeze brushed her hair giving us ample time to enjoy the sunset.

Things to pack
1- Now the most important part what to pack. Though i wont suggest carrying the stroller because dry sand makes it difficult to stroll. But then there is no harm in packing it up in your car and take out when baby feels like taking nap. You can always park your car it in beach. I didn't want to spend extra on beach cart and preferred burning extra celluloid by pushing hard the stroller and packing it back in car.
2- Beach wear. I will suggest to buy full sleeves bodysuit when introducing your baby for the first time to sunlight and sea. You never know her skin unless you study them gradually.
3- Lots of drinking water to keep baby hydrated
4-Mini stroller fan incase it is humid weather
5-Beach hat
6-Rash cream
7-Sunscreen
8-Swim diapers
9- Pacifier and beach toys.
10-Talcum powder to dust off the wet sands sticking on her skin.
11- Plastic bag to carry her wet clothes/diapers and one extra dry clothes.
The smile says mommy and me had a super beach moments and we made a new puppy friend on our way back!
Welcome summer 2019.
We stayed at Oceanfront Studio which not only offered us with inexplicable sea view but a romantic balcony which gave me the wonderful experinec of seeing both beautiful sunrise and moonlight. Reasonable rate it is good for two people intending to stay for a day or two.
